    Nook HD+ tablet

Just saw this on sale. Thinking about getting it for the wife's birthday. She will mainly use it for books, movies/shows, and game apps. Looks like it gets good reviews. I'm just not up to speed on tablets, so I don't know if this is a good unit or if I should be looking at another tablet. I'm looking to spend no more than $200 OTD.

I have the Nook HD+ and a Nook HD, I like them both very much. I rooted both of them so I'm not stuck having to download apps from B&N. I haven't watched any movies on them yet other than stuff on Youtube and the color and clarity are great. The only thing I wish it had was a camera.

Good to hear you like it. I ended up getting it after the B&N clerk told me they would refund me up to 14 days if she doesn't like it. Thanks for your feedback.

For what your wife wants to do with it, it's perfect - my wife has the same thing for pretty much the same uses.
