Every phone company "screws" its customers.Doesn't matter what brand name is on the contract. If people knew the true core cost to provide phone service, thered be riots all over the country.

And you will not find an iPhone 5 ,even used, for less then $500 unless its broken.

        Who knows.

Ultimately, when it comes to phone service The Man's gettin' his paper one way or the other.
        I averaged 100+ gigs a month for a year+ never got a notice.

I got my Razr a year ago for like 200 virtually NIB. Not stolen. You gotta be patient and look around.

I dropped my unlimited plan so I could bring my wife to the 21st century and get her an iPhone without changing the amount I was paying per month. Have gone over the data allotement have a dozen times in the past four years. It's really a pain not being able to fully utilize apps or a phones features because I'm worrying about going over my data bucket.

                  Don't let it go!

If I wasn't on WiFi a good amount of time, I'd burn that up real fast. I like to use Pandora and map my fitness, but have to be careful now or I will go over very early.
same here. All i do is pandora, gps for Runkeeper and "LOL DUDE CHECK OUT MY DOG" mms pics.

Im always throttling my behavior with the phone to not incur fees. And this is just month 1 of me actually paying for a smart phone ( company used to pay for it, i separated a week ago. Its crazy because majority of my use is wifi and it boggles my mind how poorly optimized some "simple" services are.... you know because now that i have to actually pay for it, its a concern )

The unlimited data only applies to 3G unless you were lucky enough to upgrade to a droid with 4g when they still had unlimited data.

I am in the same boat, just added a line when I got my note 2. Totally worth it because I average 15gb a month. Verizon did tell me they will kick everone of unlimited data at some point, but probably a couple years away.

I have unlimited data for my Droid Bionic 4G and my ear piece speaker is toast. I can't understand people on the other end anymore. I have insurance on it, but I haven't looked into what they would offer yet.

It appears that I use 1-2 GB per month. I use pandora a lot and browse the net sometimes. I have wifi at home, but half my work is from home and the other half is out of my truck doing mobile service for my customers, so no wifi away from home.

I need more minutes on my plan but if I am careful, I can make do with 450 minutes. I would hand on to my current phone for a number of years if it still worked.
