Been using Verizon for 10 years. Switched to then last time i moved since it was the only provider that gave me a signal at home.

I am actually very impressed with Verizon customer service. With their help on the phone, i was able to upgrade my phone without losing my unlimited data or paying full phone price. At her suggestion, i upgraded the non data using phone on my line to the Samsung galaxy then transferred it to use as my line.

speaking of sprint, they were in the running before i went verizon...except they have NO 4g in my town. all the other little surrounding towns, yes, but not here.

tmobile was pretty close in price to verizon when i was looking to re-up, with the exception of the unlimited data; know some people with tmo whose cell service is pretty poor, so verizon got it. can count the number of dropped calls since i joined verizon on one hand.

I had a Sprint account for about 10 years up till 4 months ago. While they only have WiMax in my area, I wasn't really upset since I had unlimited data and didn't have to worry about overages and figured LTE would be deployed here eventually.

However, 5 months ago, I decided I wanted to buy a Note 2, so I went to the Sprint store and asked if they had any promos to buy the phone since I was still mid contract and would pay retail on the phone. They told me they had nothing but to try calling Sprint's Telesales as they have a lot more options at discounts. Go home and promptly give Telesales a call. After explaining the situation, the lady says she has nothing at this time to offer me, but then said, "I see you've been a long time valued customer, let me check with my manager on what we can do". She comes back after about 5 minutes and says that my manager would like to offer you an early upgrade since you've been with us for so long. My first question of course was, what does it entail and would there be any extra charges. She stated it would extend my contract another 2 years, but there would be no extra charges. So after asking her 2 more times to be 100% sure, she confirmed I would see no extra charges and that her manager was inputting the contract update in the system at that time so I could go to the store and buy at discounted pricing. Of course I was excited and went to the store and asked the sales rep if he saw there were any additional charges on my bill. He said no extra charges and I just had to pay for the phone.

Fast forward 1 month and there is a $375 charge on my bill marked as early contract renewal. I call them and explain the whole situation and they kept telling me the lady had to tell me I would get charged this. Obviously that was not the case. After several calls over the next 2 weeks and not a single promised callback from the 6 'supervisors' at Sprint, I walk in to Verizon and ported all my numbers over.

For 5 lines at Sprint with a 25% corporate discount, we were paying about $240 a month. On Verizon with 5 lines and 10GB shared data with a 22% corporate discount, we pay about $260 a month. So it might be a little more, but overall we are quite satisfied with the service on Verizon. Also the LTE service is quite nice.

TMobile's service was no go as it was already weak in the are of my workplace and couldn't penetrate the walls of my office building. AT&T was an option, but the much cheaper data at Verizon was the deciding factor.

I've never had a dropped call with T-Mobile.

I have, but only when leaving WiFi coverage, while on a WiFi Call.

I don't think I have dropped a call on Cell signal in like the year I have been with them.

Oh man, The Sprint to Verizon switch.

I have deliberated that for a long time. I'm going to hold out a little bit longer. I know there are talks of Dish Network buying them. Not sure if this will be a good thing or not.

I switched from the 3G iPhone on AT&T to the iPhone 4 on Verizon nearly 2 years ago and overall I'm happy with it.

As many others have said their prices are high, luckily I get a corporate discount due to my work so 20% off of my bill.

For some reason when I walked from one end of my house to the other on AT&T it would drop the call, even though I had cell reception throughout the house. Never had the issue on Verizon.

Verizon's 3G speed is crap but their LTE is the tits. It's fast and everywhere.

I've experienced the customer service on AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. T-Mobile was by far my worst experience and Verizon was the best.

My biggest gripe is the price of Verizon, I've been eyeballing T-Mobile's $30 pre-paid plan which gives 100 minutes talk time, unlimited text and unlimited data. Just haven't been able to find the motivation to make the switch.

                    Welcome to Big Red!

never had tmobile myself. all my dropped calls were with cingular/at&t. and same store as kalakaua, i could have 5 bars of signal, and still drop calls left and right.

Sprint data in my area is dirt slow. Tmobile had tons of dead spots, couldn't make calls in one room, could in another, drove me nuts. Verizon tried to screw around and not let me upgrade after double billing me twice. AT&T hasn't given me any problems for years now(other than their stores being run like apple stores that irritate the hell out of me). There was one instance of being in the middle of BFE and not getting any signal while my buddy on verizon could make calls, not really a big deal though.

That being said, the moment at&t pisses me off enough to no longer care about my unlimited data plan, I'm going elsewhere.

Sprints 4G sucks ***. AT&T's has awesome coverage but their company is just awful to deal with. I deal with both in the corporate world and I hate AT&T with a passion. I'd never give them any of my personal money.

I'd jump to Verizon but their plan for smartphones is really expensive.

I now use StraightTalk...$45 / month unlimited everything...of course data have a soft cap....like everyone's else. It uses AT&T network. You can also choose Tmo of you want.
