I need help with configuring a printer.

    Hello all,

I just bought a HP Deskjet 3521, I already set it up with the disk and what not but I can't get Google Chrome or Adobe (from a PDF) to recognize and print anything. If Im using open office, I can print what ever I want, but In those two programs It just wont print, Also, I can print in Fire Fox... Any Ideas?
None of my posts are serious or real, nothing I post is legal advice.

Download the latest driver from HP and install it. Reboot. You should be fine, that's weird...

When you check the website see if the printer supports PCL or PS (postscript) or both... if you have an option, use the Postscript driver.

Otherwise... what OS are you using (Windows, Mac, Linux, BSD, BeOS, IRIX, DOS 3.3, etc) and how is the printer plugged in (USB, Wireless, Ethernet, can and string, smoke signals, osmosis, etc)

If you have Adobe Acrobat or other PDF virtual printer installed on your computer, they'll most likely become your default printer.

Easiest way to do this would be to open your Windows "Devices and Printers" folder, right click on your printer and select "Set as default printer".

Close and reopen Google Chrome if it was open, then try to print again. It should print now.
