    Email help

    Hi guys,

Has anyone here had a problem when you try to go on your Windows email and a popup appears asking for username and passsword? No matter what I put it will not work.

    Advice would be appreciated.

If you're accessing yahoo mail or gmail etc that can mean that the email site that you're trying to access is having issues and rejecting your user name and passwords or that you're email program is polling for new mail too close together.

Windows Mail. It is the thing you click on to activate your email account if you run off of Microsoft Windows (mine is Vista). They are not the provider, but I have figured out it is not the provider, which is outdoors umlimited.

ok, it sounds like youre trying to run the mail client from control panel?

if so, i wouldnt recommend that method.

          1) download thunderbird and install it.

Thunderbird is a free email application that’s easy to set up and customize - and it’s loaded with great features!

          2) configure your email settings per isp instruction. you can typically find their instructions on their webpage.

          3) as soon as possible upgrade vista to windows 7, it will increase your systems speed and its less confusing than vista was. windows 8 is a cheap option and can be found as an upgrade from vista for $40 online.
