I need a new video card $150-$200

I'm looking for a new video card. My budget is $150-$200. Right now I am looking at a Radeon HD 7850 2GB for $199.99, $184.99 after rebate. It comes with farcry 3 which is a plus cause I want to play that game anyway. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102998

Any reason I shouldn't go with that card? Any other recommendations?

Right now I am running a 9800gt 512 mb that I have had to do the oven trick on about 6 times in the past 6 months. It runs really hot and I know its only a matter of time before it dies completely.

ETA - The most demanding game I play is battlefield 3. I would like a card that is capable of playing it at 1920x1200 on high settings.

Looks like the 7850 is pretty good for your price range.

Might i suggest getting a XFX brand Radeon if you can find one in your price range as they have a pretty good "lifetime" warranty on their cards. If it burns out, send it back.

Thanks. Looks like I can get one close to the same price. No free game, but I like the lifetime warranty, my 9800 started messing up almost as soon as my warranty expired.

Its too bad EVGA market Radeon cards, because they still have the best warranty in the business. They do come with a higher price tag on their green machine nvidia cards though.

Radeon 7850 is definitely the best bang for your buck in that price range. Plus they can easily be overclocked to match the performance of the 7870.

According to their website some cards are still eligible for a lifetime warranty.

Good to know. I don't plan on overclocking right now, the rest of my pc isn't very good and I will probably have other bottlenecks but I will probably be using this card a long time and might want to overclock in the future.
