The best case for the bang is the Otterbox Defender for either the S3 or Note 2!

A good case is mandatory because they do seem like they would be easy to break.

I had the s3 and ended up giving it to the wife and I got a note 2. Luv this phone, only thing I could still want is a 1080p screen. But 720p is still very nice. Multi taking is great. I like having YouTube videos running while web browsing or on Facebook. Also having 2 browser windows up at same time for referencing or comparing things is great.

wifey and I both have sIII and I will be getting a note in March.

She had an iPhone and I kept my iPhones in the junk drawer... With our SIII it makes it so easy to share photos, music, etc... and I rooted both and we have free Wifi when needed...

          What do you think?

Any feedback on decent buys, bundles etc? What about service providers, coverage, 4G etc? Our contract w/AT&T is satisfied, so we could change, if there was good reason.

          Thanks, and Happy New Year!!

Note2 for sure. My girl has the S3 and she loves it, but I like the larger screen and multi-window.

Costco has the best bundle, but the accessories are junk.

Frys has the best price @ $289 and bestbuy will match it. But here's a hint about bestbuy price match. Buy full price @ $299, THEN go back for the price match, you will get more back due to the taxes. Not sure how, but that's what happened to me.

            Instead of $10 back, I got $40+

Great battery life, very nice display + gorilla glass, well integrated software and the S PEN - I use that damn thing too much. Also, I got it insured through a 3rd party company for $49/year (I think it's 49, not sure). Break it/lose it, they'll replace for you ... just added this because they wouldn't insure my old iphone

The phone size on the other hand, well - if you're not a skinny/nuthugger jeans kinda guy, then you'll be fine.

Which company did you use to insure the phone?

Too bad you can't wait long enough for the Note 3. From what I've seen it looks quite impressive.

I have the sII I have had it since December, its great, takes a bit getting used to I havent used the stylus too much yet.
It fits tight on a shirt pocket. Once you have used it for a few days you will realize the people with complaints are just jealous.

I have SIII and very happy with it. My sister has a Note II. I used it the other day, it feels massive but pretty cool. If you are good with both hands and all fingers the Note will be easy to adapt too. If you are a casual phone user just calls and txts the SIII will do you fine.
You like games, movies, and social life on your phone all day? Then get the note.

                    good luck

Try Nokia Lumina 920, best phone in the market. It comes with offline maps, great camera, sun light readable display, high sensitivity touch (works using gloves, wireless charging etc etc.

Wife got me the Note 2 for Christmas and I love it. She bought it from Best Buy and they offer a warranty thru them that if you damage it in any way they will replace it with a brand new one. Not a reconditioned one like Verizon does. The warranty lasts for 2yrs also which is perfect

You have to go with the Note 2 simply because of the battery. It lasts about 50% longer than the Galaxy SIII. That makes all the difference in the world to me.
