i switched to a macbook pro a few months ago from pc which was a little hard to get used to at first but im all setup now but will never look back. every windows laptop or desktop i have ever bought would freeze on me when new or i would have to power it down (hold power button will its off) after i had it for a while. not this mac. NEVER has it froze or i have to power it down. i use my hp windows desktop and i find my self saying what a pieces of junk. and its pretty new. i also have an iPhone 5 i had an android before and same like the windows pc i would have to take the battery off because it would freeze. im sure people will call the bs flag on me. but its alright. i will continue buying apple products. an ipad is on my to get list or a macbook with the retina display...

PC for now but mac is closing in fast....

PC still is king of desktops but nearly all MAJOR programs now come in both (like work programs, media editors) Mac is looking better and better

        Mac completely dominates phones

Dang, you is old skool! I remember Lynx... Hell, I remember Hypercard before the WWW was invented...

BTW, have you tried Crunchbang LINUX? It's got a clean and super-fast implementation of Openbox. I find it as smooth as my Macs, even running on lesser hardware. Crunchbang is what I run at work. It improves my workflow, since I run a dozen or so xterms at a time, and the cut-and-paste support is far, far, far, far, far better than in X11/XQuartz on the Mac.

Plus, I'm finding the "features" in Mountain Lion to be severe annoyances compared to Lion. For instance, the autocorrect in Mail.app will sometimes fight the autocorrect in the whole OS, locking up my keypresses for a few seconds until they figure out what I was typing. I've had to turn off autocorrect just to regain control of my Mac.
