    Mac vs PC

So here's the age old question - do you use a Mac or a PC to access calguns?

    And if so, why?

I use both... I love my mac... ignore all the people that will soon start to cry and hate on mac... they are superb machines... with that being said I also built my PC desktop last year... cost me 3.5k.... I love my PC... and I use it for gaming and surfing... My apple is used for school work, watching movies and surfing... both are awesome... if we're talking laptops macbook pro all the way... expensive, but worth it...

Mac, because even after well over a decade of work, Linux and FreeBSD window managers still don't *feel* as smooth as OS X.

Note: Calguns does render well in Lynx.

I use both but prefer the Mac. I use a PC laptop when at work because my wife stole one Macbook that I had, so I bought another and my daughter promptly purloined that one . After that, I bought a PC so that they would keep their hands off.
You may not like guns, and choose not to own one. That is your right. You might not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you're going to do are, 1) Call someone with a gun, 2) Pray they get there in time.

PC. Both at home and at work. Android when I'm on the phone.

I was given a Macbook. It collects dust even though I know how to use it. I much prefer the PC.

Mac- it's the main computer I've worked on for 20+ years.

Mac. If I have to buy my own computer, it will always be a Mac. Don't need the massive headaches that go along with trying to run Windows.

Running a P/C, laptop, and will for sometime to come. I wanted to buy a mack but when I went to the mack outlet I could not get any help from the staff. At 60 spmething I realize I'm not a young hipster, nor do I have a ponytail or shod in Birkenstock's with white socks. I guess I'm not what the mack retail staff thought was a REAL potential customer.

I feel you get much more control of the hardware and software with a PC. I've never heard of anyone going out and building a Mac before.

I use a Win7 PC currently. I do regularly use Linux to browse Calguns (Android, on ARM). Slackware or Knoppix to check some threads if I am testing something. As soon as Win takes a crap (just a bit more, or if I get sick of the right-click-file bug), I will probably jump full-force into Slackware. (Slack is slated for my Windows Server replacement as soon as I get sick enough of the lag, as it is a dual-core machinga.)

I will never use a MAC. When a PC is too old for whatever M$ has been current, I have always thrown Slackware on it, and it's (like) a new PC, running Linux natively, not virtual...
