        Which list are you using?

How do you guys get ads? You mean via when you download and app or websites? Because I've never got any of them. Just curious. Most browsers have built in ads/pop up blockers

Huh? You don't know what I am talking about? Go to settings and there are multiple listings to blacklist reference on. Do you know what this program is you posted about?

Interesting. The settings screen says that it only works on WIFI. I can't test this now, but that's too bad if means what it appears to.

if the app doesnt store a localized blacklist, it would have to otherwise acquire the list from a server. This would costs users unknown amounts of data transfer so in the situation that the blacklist is not locally stored, wifi only is likely.

Wait. I run adfree by BigTinCan, not adblock +. Requires a rooted phone and loads a known hosts file and uses that. This one doesn't care what connection you're on, but you need a rooted phone to run it.

I use Fanboy's list that's the default in the US. For those with capped plans my understanding is that the ads still download but don't display.
