Problems with Photobucket, image hosting alternative site?

I have tons of photos on photobucket.com, going years back, most not backed up. Went there today and they've changed the interface. Tried to access my pics and upload some new ones and every time I click a link, nothing happens, I just see their spinny whirly-gig icon that tells you something is happening. But nothing ever happens.

So I can't access my pics or do **** on their site anymore. Anybody else experience this?

Next question: what other free (or very cheap) image hosting sites are out there and how do you like them?

    Thanks.

You can switch back to the old interface. I didn't like the new on either and if I remember there was a link in the upper right that said "switch back to old format".

Yeah, I saw that too and tried it, but like every other link on the page, nothing happens.

Might be a temporary issue with the site so I will try again later.

Did you try with a different browser?

Yep - the new version isn't too friendly- and links sent to friends don't work either.

I had to deconstruct the auto-generated link and rebuild it before I could send it out. So, change is painful as always.

Safari and Firefox both worked the same for me.

I hope others weigh in on this. Has anyone contacted the PhotoBucket developers? I was too busy and forgot. Thinks I'll do it now.

Well it looks like they fixed thier problems. It started working for me today, not sure what the problem was but I can get into my account today and add photos. I even switched back to the old interface. Thanks everybody.

                    i like imgur.
they haven't deleted any titty pics i put up that photobucket would have.
imageshack also, but they do censor more.
neither has the editing features photobucket have though, and you might end up with big pics with imgur. that dosen't bother me but does bother some other board members though

edit: i see your woes are gone, but if you ever want to save any r rated pics, you know where to go hehehe

you can also have some redundancy using places like flicker and image shack. i can't remember if those have the kind of url ([img]) that i use to post pics online.

I've been noticing issues with Photobucket:

                        1. Error logging in repeatedly even when I am using the correct username/password

                        2. Menu and hotlinks jumbled in Firefox Browser (Works better with IE)

I hate their new interface. They dumbed everything down. Glad you still have the option to use the old one.

Facebook or google+ whichever you prefer. many services to choose from, I use several, skydrive, google+, etc. i would recommend using what service you already use.
