    "Price Alert" Program/Engine . ..?

First off, I'm a computer dunce, barely able to do e-mail, Amazon, etc., so please, be gentle

Is there a way to get an alert/notice to me when an item meets my price?

Say I'm looking to buy 1k rounds of ...caliber for no more than ... per round, including shipping (or not); can I set something up on this magic machine to let me know if it becomes available?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!!!

      It's not THAT magic.

My advise is to use your google fu and search for ammo price search, the first site that came up was a site that index's prices, you select the caliber and off you go.

Its not exactly what your asking for, but its the best I could find.

        Good luck

Oh, is that all? If I knew what an RSS feed was, I probably wouldn't have needed to ask the question in the first place...

I'd set my price and the service would do the legwork, yes?

(I, personally, would even settle for a search engine that would not list "out of stock" items in results... )

No, you really have to monitor them yourself.

But the easiest way is to go to your desired vendors' product pages then save each one to your 'Favorites' or 'Bookmarks'.

Then you can quickly click through the list and see today's prices.

This is how you learn and get better with computers. google it and learn what it is, how to use, and set it up. search for something like how to setup rss feeds.

Meh, I haven't seen a good deal in the vendor area in months. better off with slickguns.com.

You probably know that you can rename the links in your Favorites or rename them as you save them, so they're easier to deal with like 'Ammo - <vendor name>'

The page names the system saves aren't always logical.
