if you create a page file on multiple disks does windows distribute the load or not?......or does it write on one until it is full and then move to the next?

page file question on multiple disks

It doesn't distribute the load by design, but it writes into the pages that are marked empty. Once your pagefile on multiple volumes becomes fragmented enough, the load will be sort of distributed.
With that said, the best way to improve system's performance is to not use the pagefile. Memory is your friend, and it's relatively cheap these days.
Also, keep in mind that you need at least some pagefile on C:, if you want the memory dump to be recorded onto the hard drive in case of a crash. Per Microsoft, 2GB is enough.DiaHero Foundation - helping people manage diabetes. Sending diabetes supplies to Ukraine now, any help is appreciated.
