    Anybody having problems with FireFox?

I got updated to FF 16.0.1 the other day, and it hardly runs. It wont play youtube videos at all, is slow, and seems to be hogging resources.

It made me switch back to explorer because it actually works. It sucks, because I liked adblocker plus that FF lets me use as an extension.

So, anybody else having problems with the newest FF?

Yes, I'm having problems with it myself. Seems like the latest update of Adobe Flash plug-in is broken or incompatible. Whenever I visit a site with Flash, Firefox will hang.

I had to switch to Google Chrome.

I switched back to Chrome yesterday after I saw FF was being a resource hog.

I switched back to IE because FF crashes almost every time I load a page/switch a tab. I can't say that I've had perfect results with IE in the past, but I've never had anything approaching this sort of problem with any browser-past or present.

I suspect that this might be a big part of my problem. Our EHR is heavy on flash. I think that might be causing issues.

I can't go Chrome because it also has flash incompatibilities, at least according to my EHR.

Went to Chrome two days ago.

FF16 also killed the right click to email function. PITA...

well, I guess for now I have: I am going with explorer 9. When the next version of FF comes out, I will try it again, but until then, not going to use it.

It seems to be memory-leakinging or something, and I really only notice a problem when I leave a session opened for many hours.

This might even be an issue with flash, but I haven't had enough problems to need to do research.

If I have a problem, I close, wait for the drive flush (watch light) and reopen...

Firefox just seems to get buggier and slower with each version. Currently replacing it with Chrome on all my machines.

There were like 5 (don't quote me on the exact number...) that were REALLY WHACK, and almost unusable... It MUCH better... now.

I am a keyboard-monkey, and if ALT doesn't give me standard menus, I cannot function, and it is pointless to learn proprietary keyboard-shortcuts for a single application (remember Wordperfect for DOS ).
