Netbook or Tablet? ($200 range)

The tablets ive seen in this price range usually have about 12 gb free space, granted I can keep a usb but...

I need mobility and long battery life near to 10 hours. With a net book I get more bang for my buck but with a tab i can have apps (I dont have a smart phone, dont like them) that I can see needing like the Torque app for an OBDII scanner with bluetooth, and it just seems cleaner more modern up to date to have a tab than a netbook

thinking about this netbook thoughts? recommend me a tablet? I also need google maps, i can make wifi only work

It all depends on what you need it to do. If they both do it comes down to price and form factor.

I don't think you can get either for $200 unless you buy used or spec'd pretty ****ty. If you don't like smartphones you probably wont like tablets because all a tablet is is a big smartphone.

You would be hard pressed to get 10 hour battery life on either. But again, you haven't mentioned how you will be using it.

I'll sell you my Nook Color with a mini SD card that allows you to use the Nook as a small tablet with their apps. When you slip in the micro sd card - it becomes a tablet running on Android platform. WI-FI etc...
