I heard some where they really expanded that. i forgot how much more though.....

It should be good. You should play from the first one and go in order. Hope you got a lot of spare time. these games are pretty long

Well i just beat the game. It was a alright game, i found it very glitchy and at times be annoying and frustrating. Maybe once they start sending out patches, maybe it will get better. I will start working on the side missions soon. I did enjoying the hunting though. That is pretty fun. But fighting someone with a musket is a pain.

There are 12 sequences total for main mission. Plus a little something after. Don't worry about % because it also accounts for all side missions and everything else. After I beat the game I was at like 35% I did only a few side missions

I've been a fan of the series, the combat system has been the weak link in all of them. After the first one, it was tightened up and smoothed out. Part 3 feels horrible (playing on xbox) I can't play it more than a few battle sequences and I have to turn it off. It's kinda a shame I was able to play the others for hours on end. I've been nothing short of frustrated with the buggy feel of it.

I totally agree with the combat part. It suck in this game. In the other games. When you countered. You actually countered with a move. This game when you counter. You just deflect attacks. The gameplay to cut scenes aren't smoothed at all. During missios. It seems the game works against you and tries to make you lose. Like your player won't run right away when you make him. Or horses act difficult during missions but not free Rome. During some missions they had strange glitches making it even harder to beat.

This is my first AC and loving it so far. I really like the knife/sword fighting part. I agree about all the annoying glitches.

Which version has the best fighting/combat scenes?

I thought AC2, AC BH, and ACR had the best

I had AC brotherhood but I sold it because I was so lost. I basically did missions without even knowing what was going on. The fighting and exploring was REALLY fun though and I will most likely get it later on again. Online was really fun as well. I want to get AC2. Will I be just as lost if I don't play AC1? I don't feel like playing AC1. Maybe I should skip all and go straight to 3.

I picked up AC3 yesterday on PS3, loving it so far. I'm on sequence 5 now. Gotta say, I haven't run into any glitches or bugs yet. It's been playing very smoothly.

Controls are a little bit different than what I'm used to - I played the Ezio set of games on PC, using an Xbox controller or (for a while) a PS3 controller with a hacked driver, and this one just feels strange in how different the layout is. I keep wanting to hit triangle for eagle vision, etc. The combat hasn't bothered me much so far, but it's definitely got a different feel to it.

I think, control issues aside, this may be my favorite yet of the series. I think a big part of that is that I've got a more personal connection with it - I'm from New England originally, and I've actually been to many (most?) of the places that I've seen in this game.
