    Samsung's Relay 4g (T-Mobile)

I am amazed by this phone, it keeps up with me almost like CyanogenMod does on some fast phones.

Stock, unrooted:Brightness controls, AND power controls for Wi-Fi, GPS, and more all in the window shade.
Full 5-row QWERTY slide-out k/board WITH cursor keys for form filling on pages.

I never thought I'd say this, but there is almost no reason to root this bad boy.

The only real drawbacks to this is that there are so many features (bump, tap the top, etc.) that it gives pop-up-option-notifications all the time as to what it could enable if you so desire... and the keys are not as raised as on the Sidekick 4g, and are small rubber keys so since they are not as raised i an going to be thumbnailing them and this might wear out the tops of the keys quicker. The other drawback is that pressing the "home" key is not super responsive, and takes up to two full seconds if a lot is going on to get to the home screen.

I am REAL happy again with an Android after dealing with the crappy Sidekick4g's half-ashed interface that was not tested before release (nor the updates either).

One of the best things, is that like the VZ droid line, they had hearty belt-clip/case combos the week it was released in stores(, unlike the Sidekick 4g..).

I only know of two dead spots for data with T-Mobile in my area, and I just switched my son over from Virgin to T-mobile on my plan.

He didn't have service visiting his mom's house in AZ with Virgin. (Sprint/Boot all use the same network, right? It would just stop data-communication in the middle of ANYTHING, randomly on Virgin with good bars.)

Metro is adding all the time, and just added our area here recently...

        EDIT:
Correction, apparently there is an issue with the Default config... more like an oversight.

The phone syncs SMS/TXT Messages with my Inbox on the Corp. server. Kind of annoying, and at first I couldn't find it, nor could the T-Mobile support (1st tier?), but figured it out and told second tier. (A default selected setting is to sync SMS w/ Exchange, although it never was on any phone I had before.) Since I am the 1st person I know to have this phone, I thought I'd drop the fix: Accounts & Sync, select Exchange Account, Tap the Account AGAIN, then under settings for that account (not the check boxes below the account for standard options, nor under general), uncheck Sync SMS.
