How big of a screen for Mac mini

How big a screen do you think the HDMI output of the Mac mini could push. I'm debating between buys a monitor or just using an existing TV. Apparently apple no longer will support upgrades for the g3 iMac I'm had for YEARS. How dare they. ;-)

i have a 28 inch lcd on my wife's mac mini. if you have an apple tv just use airplay to wirelessly display on your tv when you want to watch a movie or need a huge screen but not the higher resolution.

Size is not the issue, resolution is. Both the 2.3Ghz (Intel HD 3000) model and 2.5Ghz (ATI Radeon HD 6630m) model will push 1080p video without issues. If you plan on playing games, the 2.5Ghz will perform better.
