Airport Extreme Wifi

Finally broke down today & I got the Airport Extreme. I got a laptop a few months ago. If I wanted to connect to the internet with the laptop, I had to unplug/plug the CAT5e cable that was hooked up to my iMac. That got old quick. With Apple, it was quick & easy to set-up & get running with the Airport Extreme. I can keep up with the Jones now that I have Wifi.

Finally got my iMac & laptop to print from the printer connected to the Airport Extreme.

They're nice units. I replaced my old router and a repeater with a pair of Airport Extreme boxes and my transfers speeds are much faster than they were previously. Setting up the repeater was absurdly easy - run the configuration utility, it says, oh, this is a second one, you wouldn't happen to be setting up a repeater, would you. Hit yes and it's done.

Not setting up a repeater. It was easy to setup as the software is preloaded in the iMac. It was also easy to setup the laptop for it. It's been running great so far. Very happy with it.
