    Samsung Galaxy note from iphone

so i plan on leaving the iphone behind. and i see how awesome the s3 is but i have had this infatuation with the note. how is it? is it worth getting. i would mainly use it for school, videos, and browsing calguns. i would use it for other things but being able to actually see my blackboard for school would be great. im really looking for input. i dropped my iphone and now the speaker doesnt work and im due for an upgrade so im ready to jump. i kind of need a phone now but is it worth waiting two months for the note 2 one or is there not a significant difference and i should just get the note 1?

I have the note and everywhere i go people ask about it.

Love the size and battery life is not bad.

Note2 will be a whole new level for other phones to follow.

Tis large. I went with the Galaxy S3 which is pretty big too.

If you get your phone through the store, like Verizon, you have 14 days (i think) to try it out and return it if you don't like it. They may charge a restocking fee too. BUT if you get it through the guys at Costco you have 90 days to return/exchange it and there is no fee. At least with Costco you can really try it out and see if you dig it before you are stuck with something you could hate for a couple years until the contract expires.

I have the Note and its the first smart phone I haven't wanted to trade in after 3 months. I had the Captivate and S2 thunderbolt before it as well as the iPhone 3gs. Im sure the Note 2 is phenominal.

When does the Note 2 come out?

I'm allowed a free upgrade with AT&T for another phone in mid October, and thought about upgrading from my iPhone 4 to the 5, but also considered the Note 2.

I almost bought a Note just last week but backed out last minute because it is simply too big to be practical. Yes that screen is awesome but IMO it is better suited for a women who can tucked it away in a purse.

For me I carry my cell phone mostly in my pocket, at times when I need to be formal I wear a nice phone holster, Note would be very uncomfortable to wear in a pocket & a phone holster would rival the size of a duty pistol's holster.

I am overdue to get a new phone and I am leaning heavily toward the Note 2 on Verizon when it comes out.
