Well I know i'm new here on Calguns but I just wanted to re-introduce myself in a different thread. Long story short - I'm a geek. Network Engineer by day, DJ by night. On the side, I like to build niche market websites "for fun" - a web developer if you may.

So, I have several that I've been working on (some more than others) but if any of you are into music, my two main ones are http://iLoveHouseMusic.com (8,500+ users) and http://iLoveHipHop.com (just starting to think this one out).

But anyways, in the meantime, I've found a new hobby - GUNS! LOL. And of course what would any geek in their right mind do but start a website... I know that it's not a huge market, but I've found what I believe to be a good niche.

http://LHshooter.com - a community for left hand shooters. Being left handed, I find a lot of information on left handed products and options but they are all spread out, so I wanted to start something DEDICATED to the lefty. So, right now just working out the framework and trying to get an idea of what you guys might want to see on there, as left handers.

The site is built off wordpress and buddypress. So I'm leaning to more of a review/article type community rather than a Bulletin board. I will be looking for article writers and such. But for now, registration is disabled until I can get the Facebook Connect (Signup) working. This is kind of my vision right now: http://lhshooter.com/about/

I'm open to any feedback and suggestions. More importantly, I'm looking forward to connecting with any LHShooters in the Nor Cal Area. I'll need another week or two before I launch it....

Anyways, as I dip into this new hobby I hope to make new friends and share any knowledge I can as well as learn from you vets.

Registration is currently disabled. I'm trying to get the Facebook connect feature working so that its easier to sign up. I'm also still building out the framework (sections) and researching other websites (forums, blogs, etc) to get an idea of what direction I want to take this.

Ultimately I just want to build a site where we can showcase ANY AND EVERY left hand option for shooters...

I kind of want the focus to be other left-handers' custom builds. THere are a lot out there but the info seems to be spread out.
