Their data speeds sucks the big one. Coverage is okay at best. At least it's unlimited data but 4g is very limited coverage.

That's a bummer because that'll mean I have to fork out full retail price to keep my data plan.

      Damn.
I went from a 3GS to a 4 and the wife a from the 3GS to a 4s a few months later and we both were able to keep our unlimited data plans

I'm with Verizon and this is apparently their new policy with their new "share everything" plan. More like "share the pain of getting screwed over"...

How much data do you use on a monthly basis? I feel like I am always checking my phone and I use just over 2GB.

Don't care... iTunes will NEVER be installed on ANY of my rigs.

It'll probably have no MicroSD slot, nor industry standard power/data cable (MicroUSB).

              You're holding it wrong...

I use about 3 gigs but I have my dad on my account too and he uses a little over a GB as well. This means that switching my plan and losing my unlimited data for me and my dad would end up costing me an extra $50 a month. Ugh..

If you don't care then why are you posting on a iPhone thread? Some people like it when their phones don't restart at least once a day

                    That sucks!

Have you looked at how much it would be to have two lines on the shared data plan or is that where the $50 came from?

That is still too much for me personally. Looks like android has improved that part of their OS then because when I had the droid x and the droid incredible they restarted twice a day.

When you make comments about people caring about a product you sound like a foolish troll.

You would have to pay me to use an iPhone.

I am due for an upgrade in December and am not in a huge hurry to get a new phone at the moment, my HTC Thunderbolt does suck pretty bad right now though. I am not sure if I want to get another iPhone or get something like the Galaxy s3. In the past the iphone has worked the best and seems like a solid piece of hardware where my Thunderbolt seems pretty cheesy in comparison. Now that the new iPhone will be LTE I am kinda thinking iphone5. By time I go to upgrade Im sure plenty will be available unlike when the 4 came out, pre-ordering was a nightmare!

Stock firmware might have been your issue, another reason to avoid proprietary software that cannot be changed... if at all possible. Research and knowledge is key.
