Zombies, Run! game for smartphones

I just picked up this game for $7.99 in the Google Play store. That officially makes it my most expensive purchase there. They also make it for iPhone.

Essentially what the game does is play a story out for you complete with voice acting while you run. You can run in place, on a treadmill, or around any path of your choosing. It also features an optional mode for Zombie Chases where you have to speed up to evade the Zombies.

I just played the first missions and it is a ton of fun and really good at motivating me to run longer and harder. I'm pretty out of shape so anything that can do that is good.

I agree it is a great app to help motivate runners. I've been using it for a little while and run Nike's Run app in the background.

The Nike app makes up for Zombies, Run! in that it tracks my run speeds, tracks me on a map and also shows Calories Burned.

Zombies, Run! does all that now too. The Map doesn't show an overlay of where you ran but it shows you your course. You have to sync online and then view it in a web browser though.
