For some reason I do not think Steve Ballmer fits with MS.
Also I think Windows 8 seems more like something to compete with the cell phone section like Apple Iphone, and Droid products etc..Smith & Wesson M&P 45 Apex kit

Consumer electronics and computers are and aren't the same thing. Competition is good. If Ballmer had hair this would not be an issue.
Without Apple, we MS users would still be typing c:/ to start the day.
Without MS, a startup computer would still cost $5K.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

Microsoft used to allow their people a fair degree of freedom when it came to development of new stuff. It used to be a fun place to work back in the day. Steve Ballmer was not a good choice, and I was saying that right when he was announced to succeed Bill ("bad move, this won't work out well").
The problem is that Ballmer's too much a manager and not enough of a visionary. He's way too authoritarian and has always fostered that kind of culture. Look at Microsoft now. Instead of innovating, they're bribing governments around the world and suing smaller, truly innovating outfits for dubious claims. That's when you're on the downslope. Microsoft needs to get rid of Ballmer and put someone with a better understanding of tech and its usage into the President/CEO title."San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"
F***ing with people's heads, one gun show at a time. Hallelujah!

To be a true Liberal, you must be 100% pro-Second Amendment. Anything less is inconsistent with liberalism.Comment
