on june 26 the free "extended cut" DLC will be out for download. it will add additional scenes and epilogue sequences to the game and will be about 1.9GB. i hope they dont make a generic ending where Commander Shepard and his girl defeat the enemy, ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after. the way i see it Commander Shepard's story should not have a happy ending like so many people want.

admiral hackett can handle little stuff like that with fifth fleet. commander shepard only gets out of bed to handle reaper threats or massacre defenceless batarians.

As much as I think the tantrums some people had over the ME3 ending weresilly, the problem wasn't that Shepard didn't get a happy ending. The problem was that Bioware had specifically stated numerous times that the ending wouldn't be "choose A, B, or C" and that "your choices throughout the game would have an impact on the ending". Bioware wound up doing exactly what they said they wouldn't do.http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/...ming-next-week

It's kinda like how Eidos screwed up Deus Ex: HR by telling players constantly that they'd be able to choose their play style, run and gun, or stealthy, but then all of the boss fights end up being machine gun and hand grenade battles in an enclosed room(they outsourced the boss fights to a different company who didn't bother to look at the rest of the game) and for some people screwed them over if they had put all of their points into leveling up abilities that weren't combat related.Comment

I don't think it was so much the 3rd gaming being bad as it was the 1st game being so much better. Better story, more involved gameplay etc. 2nd game was interesting as well although it felt much more like filler than an actual game.
3rd one didn't really 'continue' anything from the previous two other than a couple minor details.Comment

just a fyi, this new DLC isn't a new ending, it just adds scenes to fill in why stuff happens in the original ending. so you get to see why the normandy is flying away with teammates, who the F was that old man/kid at the end, and a few others.
bioware has stated many times that they will not change the ending from what is given in the game.Originally posted by leelawBecause -ohmigosh- they can add their opinions, too?Originally posted by SoCalSig1911Preppers canceled my order this afternoon because I called them a disgrace... Not ordering from those clowns again.Originally posted by PrepperGunShopTruthfully, we cancelled your order because of your lack of civility and your threats ... What is a problem is when you threaten my customer service team and make demands instead of being civil. Plain and simple just don't be an a**hole (where you told us to shove it).Comment
