I just upgraded to Windows 7 and did a WEI with a low score of 5.2 for Data Transfer Rate. Everything else is in the 7.3+. I currently have a Caviar Black attached to a 3Gb/s SATA motherboard. How can I increase the transfer rate.

SSD as others have stated is what is really gonna make the difference. As far as what one person scores with a particular drive and what the next person scores is going to depend on the interface controller.
Magnetic drives are always going to be your bottleneck nowadays and have been for quite a while.Comment
