    I'm guessing I have a problem with a setting

    All I have for speakers on my desktop are headphones. When I try and listen to youtube and videos on fakebook I can just make out that there is sound but zero volume, but when I play Battlefield it has full volume. What the hell am I missing?

      The simplest thing to check first is when you play videos on YouTube or Facebutt, check to see if the volume slider on the video itself isn't too low.

      On YouTube, move your mouse cursor on the video and the volume button will appear in the lower left corner.

                  For my main computer, i have a 28 watt per channel amplifier that is hooked up to two satellite speakers from Audio Engine as well as one of their subwoofers. I I have no trouble hearing anything.
