    Winows 11 taskbar disappeared

Posted this also in another thread, but I wanted to make it discreet.

New to my use, HP Windows 11 laptop. Yeah, I know...

It said it needed to install updates. I knew I couldn't delay it forever, so I let it go. When it restarted, the taskbar was gone. That's a huge pain in the arse. The clock is gone, it's hard to figure out which apps are open, and the area at the bottom of the screen is dead. I can't click on anything in that area. I tried the usual fixes, settings menu, etc. Nothing works. I've seen reports of having to reinstall Windoze 11. That's pretty suck. Any other ideas?

Is your HP a AMD CPU by chance! When your TB disappear your still updating.
Often it may last a long time, often on Weekend. Check your update parameters and leave it on Friday nights to down load. My Intel HP has no issues. Fast updates.

No, it's Intel, and it's been left on for over a week.

Best to reset to factory setting and start from scratch.
