    Cloud DVR service

    So I am messing around with some ip network cameras and I'm pretty sure I got it all up and running. I set up my DNS service and can view my video feeds from any mobile device, awesome. I'm wondering now if there is a type of cloud DVR service that will record the live feeds for viewing later? If I can find such a service I may consider buying more cameras for use as security cams, right now I just have it setup to check in on my dogs every now and then from work to make sure they aren't tearing **** up and later to watch my baby in her crib while I am away. Does anyone know of any such services?

              I wouldn't use cloud services for much. I prefer having everything hosted at home, so I can log connections...

              I would be weary if having my home video, or private documents in a place where everyone else does, and then they get get hacked... let alone if you have one on the bed for later viewing pleasure...

                  some PVR systems have a cloud service NOT DVR. You can maybe setup your DVR to back it self up off site to another hard drive/computer. If you dont have a DVR buy a PVR and connect your IP cameras to it and log in through the PVR not the cameras.

                      What is a PVR? By hooking up all the cameras to the PVR would it then output all videos feeds at once instead of logging into each camera seperately?

                          A PVR is like a DVR but for IP/digital cameras. Yes you will connect all cameras to it and then log in and boom all the cameras on one screen.
