New computer, now I need to move Itunes.

    Hi guys,

Yes, I did use Google, so no posting of that link that tells you to search google...

So I have a new computer now and I want to transfer my Itunes to it. What is the easiest/best way to do it. There's 2343 articles on it, have any fellow Calgunners found an easy way to do it?
    I found this site: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 and http://www.wikihow.com/Copy-an-iTune...a-New-Computer
    Thanks,
    Emil

So you appear to have already found the easiest ways to do it. What's the question?

      Yup.

You could use a portable USB Hard Disk Drive or Flash Drive and transfer the files as the instructions state. Or, you can get fancier and convert the old hard disk drive into a USB device by buying a kit and skipping the "middle man."

Yup, I just use a portable HDD and copy the entire iTunes folder. Install iTunes on the new pc, then copy the folder over, I keep my iTunes folder backed up on a portable anyway because of how much I have invested at this point.

Just stick the old drive in and move the folder over the the new system. Then all you need to do is import it with iTunes.
