    PC Gameboards?

I'm getting myself ready for some Diablo 3, and have decided to go with a "Gameboard". I have gamed on the PC for 10 years with just a keyboard, although I am not by any means hardcore (on 360, maybe ).

What gameboards do you guys use?

I was looking at this one:

But I want my firearms enthusiasts buddies opinion too, not just amazon people.

I was looking at the Nostromo back when it was still a Belkin product. I sort of still want one to use at work - I do CAD stuff, and extra buttons and such are very useful - but I've already got a first gen G15, MX Revolution and Spacepilot Pro, so I don't know how many more buttons I can possibly use.

I had a nostromo back when it was branded by belkin(n52), didn't particularly like it for a number of reasons.

1: Extra space taken up on my desk. It meant that my keyboard shelf now had to hold a hardocp ratpad, my keyboard, and the n52. This didn't work on the desk I originally had at the time, it did work with a desk I had later.

2: Instead of just taking my right hand off of the mouse to type, with the n52 I had to move both back to the keyboard(and back to their devices once done typing).

3: It's been a while and the software may have improved by now, but it was pretty crap when it first came out.

4: To get more than a few usable keys you had to cycle through the red/green/blue/none keysets, this actually slowed things down.

5: Diablo 3 is probably the last game I'd ever consider using one of these for(considering you really only need 5 keyboard hotkeys for it as of the most recent beta). What little difference it did make for me was with RTS hotkeys, not diablo 2 or even FPS games.

I lost mine a long time ago in a move, can't say I miss the thing. If I were stuck using a cramped laptop keyboard I'd definitely get another. But with a fullsize desktop keyboard(logitech g15 for now), I just don't see a point.

Try and find a first-gen Logitech G15, the one that has ALL the function keys and a flip-up screen. They've been discontinued since I think 2007 though. You CAN still find them new in the box, but they're not cheap, because they're the greatest keyboard ever made. I've been pounding away on mine for 8-10 hours a day since 2006, and it's still going strong. The key tops show no wear, even though the area where I rest my wrists is showing bare, smooth plastic now.

G510 might be a good too, but I haven't used one of those so I can't testify to its quality.

Ive been using those since the first gen, however only for FPS games. The main reason is everything is right where i want it and i never have to move my hands off the controller. My friends all use them for everything they play. They program macros and stuff for their mmo and strategy games.

I started this mess and kick all their asses at our lan parties. They thought this device was my secret weapon so they all went out and bought one. They initially hated them as it takes a bit to get used to. After awhile, like me, they found it hard to play without one. A couple still hate it, so you might too, but most love those game pads.

I ended up with a g110. It was originally 70.00, marked down to 39.99 plus a 12.00 mfr rebate. It was too good of a deal to pass up. If i dont like it, i will get one of those logitech gameboards for sure. But this g110 feels pretty good right now.
