Exchanging PayPal for Amazon gift card?

Is there an easy way to do that? I want to get a little gift for the wife using some funds in my PayPal account. Amazon gift cards can be transfered via email and so can PayPal funds. I'd like to avoid ebay, after getting scammed twice with no recourse I have decided to deny them my business.

Why not transfer the money to your bank account and just use your card to buy the gift card on amazon? You can also get a free PayPal debit card that works off the funds in your PayPay account.

I don't have it hooked up to my bank account. I did that with my last account, and they used their access to snatch out $200 when an ebay buyer claimed I didn't send him something that I did. Ultimately they kept it, and the fact that I had delivery confirmation on the package and over 100 feedbacks with 100% positive rating meant squat when it came to down to it. Since then I don't trust them with that kind of access.

Was there a signature? If not I would have filed a claim with the carrier and refunded the money. If there was a signature I would have taken PayPal to small claims (they never show up).

Court isn't my thing, especially for $200, I say that's cheap price to avoid stepping a single foot into one of those arcane centers of ritualistic absurdities and moral profanities.
