Is WhatsApp okay?

I'm considering subscribing to a stock service that send out their picks on WhatsApp. Is it alright? Not spyware, etc?

Its OK. It is encrypted and not spyware, but Meta can pull some user data from their user base (the individual chats are encrypted between users, even Meta can't see those).

Been using it for over 10 years.
Texting, sending images and video, voice and video calls. As have countless millions.

Of course, META owned. Banned is several countries because Facebook is banned.
