looking to get a new phone.

I'm running around with a droid incredible 2 atm from VZW. I am grandfathered into the unlimited so nothing to really worry about usage wise. I use my hpone for jsut about everything and am on the net constantly. My wife got a new phone a few weeks ago, the droid bionic and even though I;m not a big fan of the phone itself, the 4g speed is rediculous. I'm looking into upgrading mine now.

I've had my eye on the galaxy nexus for a long time now. Still I think its the best phone out there, except at $200 its a little pricey still. The droid razzr is now only $100. Anyone on here have the razzr and like it? Hows it perform on a daily basis? Theres also the droid 4 out now too. I'm a sucker for the actual keyboard as I hate typing on a touchscreen. Only problem is the Droid 4 is $200 also. Now If you were going for the more $$$ phone, which would you choose the nexus or the droid? Are the later two worth the extra $100 or should i just spring for the razzr? It seems like an alright phone, and no doubt better then the one i got now.

Go with the Nexus, Google and cellular providers are more keen on keeping their flagship phones up to date with software. As the lesser in between models of Android get left to rot.

My brother has the new razr, and man im telling you that thing is sweet.

He actually uses the 4g then the wifi because its faster (and our internet is highspeed too!)

I'd get the razr and MAKE SURE THEY KEEP YOUR UNLIMITEd PLAN; SOMETIMES THEY "ASSUME" THAT YOU DONT CARE! it has happened to me and my gf before and it was f****** hell to get it back.

Yep, Galaxy Nexus will be the first phone to get the next version of Android. I don't think you can switch to 4G and keep unlimited data though.

I ended up not getting anything yet. And if you have unlimited now, you are grand fathered into 4g also, at least that's what the monkey behind the counter said.

What's different about the regular razr and razr maxx?

I will never buy an iPhone, never.

Also the gnex already comes with ICS, its the only the Android with it currently.

I have a Galaxy Nexus for work and a Galaxy S II for my personal phone. The S2 blows the Nexus out of the water. The plus for the Nexus is that it already has ICS and the S2 was supposed to get it back in March and it still isn't here... I'm not holding my breath for it either. Sure sure its been "confirmed" by all kinds of people but so has sasquach.

All I know is the Maxx is said to have the best battery life of any phone (or smart phone or something like that).

Plenty of Android phones have official ICS right now.

No it doesn't. The Razr Maxx has a slightly larger battery than the Droid Razr, it does not have the best battery life out of all phones, not even out of all 4G phones.

yep the maxx has a larger battery which i think is worth it.

and I was able to keep my unlimited when i went to 4g so the monkey was right
