    Firefox upgrade question.

I'm running an older version of Firefox, 6.x. It keeps nagging me to upgrade to version 11x. The question is: if I do upgrade, will it keep my existing bookmarks and add-ons like A. Flash Player, etc? Anything else I should be aware of if I do upgrade?

Two different machines, one XP and the other W7/64. Any cautions with either?

    Thanks for your input.

    Respectfully
    Kyle

You will not lose anything, and you should upgrade that XP machine to Windows 7 since XP support is nearing end-of-life (no more updates).

If your hardware is circa Windows XP days, you should be going to new hardware for Windows 7 too.

Actually, you may lose some of your add-ons if their creator hasn't kept up with the various Firefox versions.
Your bookmarks should be just fine though.

Thanks all for the feedback. (I'll have to keep the XP machine for a while; it runs some of my wife's genealogy software/hardware that will not run correctly under W7).

April 8, 2014 is the date. Still a little ways out. Worry about it sometime in 2013.
