I am working with the 2010 version. I used to do something similar in older versions but that was a while ago and i forget. i tried searching and cannot get my bearings.

here is what i am trying to accomplish. I want the "Main" sheet cells automatically populated from the "T1" and the "T2" sheets in the same file.



I am looking for the Batch code to automatically populate from the below sheets to the Main one WITHOUT DUPLICATE values for the year range appearing.
As an example, I want to know what "Batch Codes" were present for t1 in the year 1950.

I also want new entries on the tab T1 and t2 to automatically reflect on the Main page in case there is a new/unique entry.





if the answer is a lot of typing, please let me know what the feature is called and I will explore from there. Utube also has a bunch of good vids.

Looks like you need to do a cross tab, or several cross tabs, to populate the main page.

You can use a pivot table, but you would have to combine the T1, T2, and T3 tabs into 1 tab.

This is probably the easiest way of doing it.
