Please tell me you won't be wasting time and money on some SETI project. Run something like Folding instead.

Or just play games like Intel intended

I work as part of the team that designed this part and so as a perk, we are allowed to borrow one with which to build our own personal system. The downside is that this perk ended up costing me about $1300 to buy the rest of the parts.

The upside is that I know have a far more powerful PC than I would have ever paid to build myself.

Probably not SETI. I may setup Folding though. The driver disk for my GPU has their custom folding software I could install as well. Thats the one trying to cure cancer and all that right? More important than aliens. Unless aliens cause/cure cancer then might make sense to do both?

Main use is gaming and video conversion though. I mean I have a picture hanging on my wall with this pic on it.
