Calguns forum messages marked as read

Does anyone know of a setting or way to prevent the forum software from marking all the threads as "Read" if I don't interact with the website every 2 minutes (okay, maybe 5 minutes)? I've used this software on other sites and have seen unread threads stay unread when I come back, so I know the software can do it.

It's very possible I'm just missing the option, but I'm guessing it's a server-side setting. Appreciate any recommendations.

cookies + session information working against you. Set your cookies (either via the forum options in your control panel if they are offered) or address your cache via the privacy settings.

If you have no valid session && no valid cookie : technically nothing is new because you've never read the older version

Hmm, strange that I don't have the same problem on other forums.

Okay, I've changed the cookie settings and we'll see what happens. I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm using an ancient browser on the Navy system, although I have the same issue with Calguns at home on Win 7 and FF.

      Thanks for the pointer.
