ASUS Transformer - Creating new folder on desktop?

Hi guys,

I'm going crazy on trying to figure out how to add a new folder to my ASUS desktop. I'm saving pictures of engravings I want done, I want to put those pictures in a folder on my desktop so when I go to see the engraver I can just open the folder. When I save the pictures it goes to the gallery folder. I've tried my Google FU, doesn't help. There's many topics but I just can't figure it out. I've downloaded the file organizer and es file explorer apps. I was able to make a folder using file manager, but the folder stays inside file manager, I can't transfer it to the desktop! Help!

What operating system?

First step is to uninstall anything acer related.

Apps Organizer (free). basically nothing more than putting your apps into folders. Also allows you to customize the icon of the folder. icons are phone size.

or

Folder Organizer (paid), allows you to make folders and give custom icons to any app you have installed. Lots of customization but the icons get a little smaller than the phone versions. You can also choose the order of the icons in your folder.
