I'm not waiting for this game anymore, not since it came out that it will require a monthly fee to play. There is no reason why we should have to pay to play a game we buy.

Monthly fee? Since when? The only blizzard game with a monthly fee is WoW. The only thing about a subscription that has anything to do with diablo 3, is that if you pay for a years worth of WoW in advance, you get diablo 3 for free instead of paying $60 for it.

Ya as far as I know there's never been a monthly fee planned for D3.. though I don't exactly follow the news on it so if something new has come up I likely wouldn't have heard about it. It will be online only though, even in "single player" so in some respect, you will technically have to pay your ISP in order to play it. I've had the beta for a couple months and I never really play it. I only played D2 for pvp purposes so the fact that they're making champion build-up and much of the content into a WoW-style timesink leaves me not too interested in D3 anymore. I don't like games that you have to devote your life to.. who has that kind of time? Bummer because I was a huge D2 fan.. D3 just doesn't seem different enough to attract a base of new players, yet at the same time too different to satisfy the itch of oldschool D2 fans. /end nerdrant

I have a couple friends in the gaming industry and they've both told me d3 is not pay to play. But that it might get delayed because they're having trouble with Korea thinking the auction site looks like gambling.

I really wasn't all that impressed with the game play. It seemed very linear, with just a lot of clicking on mobs.

the pvp change pretty much ruined it for me, it was awesome 2 blizcon 2 years ago but now its kiddy BS and the gameplay feels dated. im no longer hyped up for this game at all.
