Need email help!!!

I am always getting spam on my verizon email account. I try to block it but the address is usually not recognized as an email. I just can't seem to make it stop and its driving me nuts!!! It appears all the emails are coming from the same source or email provider. (Forgive my lack of computer savviness) Can anyone help?!?

Make a new email account and hope the address doesn't get sold as part of a marketing list to a company(extremely difficult), and hope that someone else with your email address in their address book doesn't get a virus and have that data sent to spammers for the purpose of spamming you(also extremely difficult to avoid).

The only other thing to do is get an email client(an actual email client like outlook or something) instead of the web access I'm guessing that you currently use, and hope the built in spam filters(or some other add-ons) can sort the spam out better.

If you're asking how to eliminate receiving spam altogether... aside from never giving out your email address... ever, it's unlikely these days.

Like merc said get a gmail account (it's free)
You could also use Thunderbird client it has spam filters built in..

The best answer is to buy a domain name before making a new email address. Start with Google Apps. google.com/a

If that proves to not be good enough, you have a whole plethora of solutions at your fingertips because you would then control the MX records and you could point them to any anti-spam service of your choice.
