    Tapatalk issues on Droid

I have been using Tapatalk on my DROID for quite a while and last night it no longer connects to the server for Calguns. All my other forums still work fine only Calguns has the issue. Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips to resolve it?
    Thanks!

I am using Tapatalk without problems. Try logging on to the Market and see if there is an update.
I think there was one a few days ago.

Same here, if there are pics, it crashes and I can't see embedded YouTube videos.

I've had that issues and rebooted the phone to fix it.

What does tapatalk do anyway? Is there some functionality that the browser doesn't offer on forums that I'm missing?

Tapatalk is an app that allows viewing a forum a little quicker and easier. It has it's problems though. I've checked for latest version, rebooted many times, logged out and back in and am considering removing program and re-installing. I believe it happened when they upgrades.

I didn't think tappatalk was useful until I actually started using. Most used app on my iPhone since I take part in about 8 different forums.

I've been using Tapatalk without problems on my 1st gen Droid, and for the past week on my new Droid Razr. Works fine on all the forums I'm on.

I am having identical issues as the OP using tapatalk on an iPhone, and they arose around the same time. Has anyone found a fix yet?

For those who asked, as far as I can tell tapatalk allows for more streamlined, less data-intensive forum use. Remember, most phone companies only allow a certain amount of data usage each month. Tapatalk seems to try to minimize data usage by not loading all photos and keeping format simple.

Aha, that must be it. I'm blessed with a grandfathered AT&T unlimited data plan and a wicked powerful phone, so I have never had to mess with reducing data usage. Thanks for the info.

                            Tried CONVO?

I've been using a FREE Tapatalk alternative called Convo (available in the Android Market).

So far its working well and has no problem with embedded pics. I haven't used Tapatalk, so I can't compare the two, but so far I like Convo fine, and its definitely a good value.
