New Xbox Live Update pushed out today guys, it has some extra content. And the dashboard has this new "Windows Mobile 7" type experience with the different tabs and panes. I haven't gone through it, but I understand it has YouTube built in now. It will have you reauth your account after you update.. "For Security Reasons" as I was told. It has an app market. Apps coming soon: Youtube, Crackle, Dailymotion, Iheartradio, msnbc.com, syfy, tmz, ufc, verizon fios, vevo, vudu, mlb, xfinity, HBO Go. Pretty exciting

I like it, it looks nice but is still fast. I still wish they would add a web browser to it, no reason not to, imo.

The new Netflix app is nice, mostly for the in-video options.

I'm really looking forward to youtube. We don't have cable so I do a LOT of video watching on youtube. Especially 15+ minute videos by hickock45 and people like that.
I may have to get a keyboard to make searching go faster. Kinect is still pretty much useless to me.

I don't like the new Netflix app cuz when you click on a series it automatically starts playing an episode before you select the one you want to watch. Hopefully they fix that soon.

I'm not sure I like the new layout. The GUI prior to this one was much simpler.

I like the new layout for listing games in your Arcade.

I seriously dislike the video preview play options in Netflix. Would much prefer Netflix to start playing only after I have selected the episode I want to watch.

Did it hose anyone elses connection to XBox Live? Took me well over an hour of lost Battlefield time to get it working again.

It updated for me two days ago, I couldn't sign into live for about a half hour, then it just started working again....

DL it also, it's going to take a little time getting used to it. I was trying to use Netflix but it kept loging me out of xbox live saying I need to be a gold member. I have a gold membership already that's good for a whole year. Anyone have this problem?

Are you really that lazy that you need to use the controller to eject disk or am I the only one that sees the logic in using the EJECT BUTTON since you have to walk up to the console to change this disk anyway?

On the subject of the update, I hate the windows 7 phone style experience. Navigating through the marketplace is now an even bigger pain in the arse, although the kinect integration in the netflix app is fun because I get to enjoy watching friends and relatives look completely retarded trying to find something they want to watch with it.

Well my 6 yr. old isn't allowed to touch the Xbox or disks, only the remotes. When he wants to change games, he'll open it up then come and get me to swap disks. He had the previous setup all figured out and had to relearn the "new way" to do it. It's just kinda dumb to change the operating keys for no good reason.

I havent played with it much yet, but when I got the beta it seemed nice and quick. I love the Metro design style that Microsoft is going toward.

It's pretty nice. This looks very similar to what Windows 8 will be. I have yet to try the voice and motion commands.

woot! YouTube is available and for those who have Verizon FiOS, theres an app that allows you to watch some channels on Xbox Live

I just activated YouTube on my Xbox...
