YouTube: FPS Russian

Hey everybody,

Just wanted your thoughts on this guy on YouTube...

His name is FPS Russian

So far I can see he has very good funding since every video always includes something new or at least expensive by my standards. Obviously he doesn't buy all of that stuff, so his sponsors are very generous. He doesn't really give any useful info or insight into technique... pretty much just shoots anything he can and then grins and speaks with a silly fake Eastern accent. Although he does have experience, because he is usually a decent shot, he doesn't exactly follow Front Sight's safety rules lol.

Overall, to me, he seems to be an entertaining guy with his dark humor and good setup of weapons... but he honesty looks like a good way to entertain little boys playing video games all day, basically showing them how "fun" guns can be when you have no regard for safety.

Anyways, like I said... let's hear your thoughts?

He's been talked about before here and elsewhere. His real name is Kyle and he's from the good old US State of Georgia. I personally like his video's. Some of the guns are from his personal collection, some are loaners for airtime. Would love to shoot just 10% of what he's pulled the trigger on in my lifetime.

i laugh pretty hard everytime i see one of his videos, minus the helicopter one (one that came out today).

he makes alot of money being a youtube partner, think this last year he made over $200,000 was the estimate that was floating around.

he gets to shoot all of those NFA/full auto guns from a bet he made with a local gunshop owner in georgia. so its like a rent/lease program.

other stuff he explicitly mentions where and who owns it.

Yeah he's funny... I don't think hes Russian... He had a YouTube account that he went by FPSkyle, I think he did videos on games...

That's one of the more humble videos that he's done, from what it looks like. I like it, even the guns aren't all that exuberant. Looks normal.

^yeah, you can tell when he starts running into some money though, he goes from remington 870's, and mosseburg 500's to lower end 1911's, then youtube hits and he gets handed thousands a month

I'd say the average age of his fanbase is 15 and the vast majority of them are complete morons. Read the comments on his videos..

Who has time for that? There's almost 14,000 of them on each video. Besides, most of the people commenting on YouTube are morons anyway. He's just got a representative sample.

But I also agree with the other guy. The majority of those posting seem to be little teenagers... but that's pretty much all of the people who comment on videos though-out YouTube.
