So i lost my phone friday and had to finally give in to the smartphone. I now have an iphone 3 but it only sends text messages to other iphones. Does anybody know what could be making this happen or is it something at@t has to fix for me? I do have texting on my acount so this is rather confusing. Thanks calgunners.

Check your plan and make sure there isn't a texting restriction

if you can only send messages to other apple devices, you're probably sending the messages over 3G/Wifi via iMessage. Your carrier may have blocked SMS messaging, call them to verify.Originally posted by hornswaggledComment
