Surewest VS. Wave ?

So I have Surewest internet 15mbps right now and like it.
However I can't afford the rate hike since my promotional rate ran out and they wont make any kind of consessions for a loyal customer
So I have to switch to someone else, that being most likely Wave.
How is their service and speed compaired to Surewest ?

We threatened to leave and they extended our rate for another year... They've done it for us twice so far!

I got them to give me a better rate, so I'm going to keep Surewest.

Sorry to bring up a semi-old thread, but is it true that Comcast serves Lincoln? I'm closing on a home next month and I thought it was only Wave and Surewest as my choices. Not a big deal really, but I'd like to have my choice made before I move in.
