    DSL Modem Recommendations?

Hello, I'm in need of a new DSL Modem, and was looking for recommendations.

I'm using the ATT's highest DSL residential connection before UVerse (I was told UVerse wouldn't really do anything for me and it would have required us to redo our security system, so we never "upgraded" to UVerse), and have a a dozen+ devices that are connected (2 computers, Cisco IP Phone, Ipad, Android Tablet, printer, Microcell, various other wired and wireless devices), and the most important thing is stability and not dropping the connection, since I work from home and use an IP phone.

Definitely don't mind paying a little more for a quality product...

I looked on Newegg and Amazon, and it seems like Actiontec is a very popular brand with good reviews...? Any other recommendations?

    Thanks!

I have Verizon DSL. I have never had an Actiontec last more than a year and they were problematic at that. I now use Netgear DSL Modems at both houses and have been very pleased for ~2 Yrs.
    YMMV

My actiontech is a couple years old now and works fine, but I have had nothing but problems with netgear products unless they come in the blue steel case. I'm not aware of a commercial DSL modem by them.

A warning about the actiontech and ATT, you have to know how to configure it yourself or they will charge you out the *** when you call them for your password. I dread calling them. Simply getting the password out of them without hearing the word fee is always a hassle.

      * note I have never paid a dime for this but every time I mention actiontech the first thing they tell me is Ohh we do not support that blah blah blah when all I need is for them to reset my password or account....

I have heard good and bad about action ech products but to me netgear is the bottom of the line and I doubt I will ever buy another one of their products. I think for DSL your pretty much screwed when it comes to finding a good compatible modem for ATT.
