Turtle Beach Headsets? Anyone have one?

I picked one up cause my regular xbox 350 headset I guess went out. Talk about frustrating coming home with the new MW3 on midnight release only to find my mic is out. Anyways I bought this turtle beach headset, and have it set up to hear the tv audio through them as well as the mic. My question is... How the hell do I turn them off where when I turned to regular tv they arent pumping out the tv audio. Theres like no damn on and off button...

On my set, there's a little black circle button on the left earpiece (under the mic cord) if you push that, they should shut off.

A bit of advice. Assuming that theyre witeless, buy rechargeable batteries. They drain fairly quick.

Nah they arent wireless, and no shut off button. Shouldve gotten the wireless ones though, This cord is one ultimate pain in the arse.

What series? I have the X3's and they have the on/off button where etarip mentioned.

Try hooking it up directly to your X-Box like you're supposed too (top diagram).

I have it set up as #2. I dont have that lil adapter. I wanted to hear the sounds through it as well as just the mic. Still havent found a damn off on button... Maybe they just stay on?

Shoulda got the xbox 454.

My X41's have the button on the left earpiece. But to answer the OP question about the X12's, check this one here.
Or Turtle Beach might know, they might even have the instructions available to download, similar to the printed version that's in the trash.
