    GunBroker?

I always love to support my local GS, but sometimes the availability and prices on GunBroker are too good to pass up. I'm really considering using it for a firearm purchase, but have never done it before. Knowing that I can't just hit Buy It Now and have it on my door step 3 days later - Do I have to arrange with the local GS FFL before a purchase? Or can I simply make it happen, and they/we will be notified upon shipment?

I've never purchased from there myself but from my understanding its like buying from budsgunshop.com or similar site where your selected/provided FFL must give proper info and the item will be shipped to them for the transfer/DROS.

No seller is going to ship to your FFL unless they know the dealers number and can check it on EZ check. Some FFL's won't accept shipments from individuals.

So yes, find out if your LGS will do it, and get their number to tell the seller if they will. They may want contact info on the seller to talk to them.

Communication is important.......it is also FREE. If you don't do enough of it, you might end up starting a thread with a tale of woe.

I know you are in Corona -

But OC Armory in Lake Forest has handled my last two (Soon to be three) purchases -

          One from Grab-A-Gun.

One from a private seller ( individual ) on GunBroker -

The next one from a FFL on GunBroker....

              Gunbroker FFL search by zip:

There are others, but these guys have taken the trouble to register and post their prices, in most cases.

sometimes we get Gunbroker threads in clumps; little clusters of them show up.

I bought a few guns off GunBroker, pretty easy transaction. Biggest problem, a lot of sellers do not want to sell to California, otherwise it is easy, they ship to your FFL, you fill paperwork, pay fees, wait and gun is yours.
