Exploring possiblilities:Evo4g rooted & Kindle Fire

Can the Kindle Fire use the rooted EVO 4G to access the 3G or 4G networks of Sprint to the internet if configured appropriately?

I dont see why not as long as its wifiable. I tethered my ipad, pc netbook, mac book pro to my evo on both 3g and 4g network without any problems.

I ask becaise the Kindle Fire is said not to support "ad hoc" network access. Just wondered if that included the rooted EVO hotspot.
